About

I am a Vancouver-based Editor and Senior Assistant Editor who believes that the most compelling storytelling happens in the edit suite. With five years of experience navigating the high-pressure environments of leading London post-production houses like Nomad Edit and The Workhouse, I have developed a meticulous eye for rhythm and a deep technical fluency across various platforms. My portfolio spans from high-end commercials for global brands like Alexander McQueen, Olay, and Dove to major studio marketing for feature films including Universal’s Wicked: For Good and Netflix’s Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
My technical foundation is built on a high proficiency in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve. I am a seasoned hand at managing complex, large-scale workflows, from the initial ingestion of vast volumes of footage and hard drive management to the precision required for conforming final masters and QC’ing exports for broadcast. Whether I am troubleshooting technical hurdles or sourcing the perfect sound effects to elevate a cut, I approach every project with the goal of ensuring a seamless transition from the set to the screen.
While my technical skills provide the framework, my creative approach is rooted in the theatre. I earned a 1st Class degree in Drama from the University of Exeter, where I spent my early career directing live shows and studying the nuances of performance. This background led me to co-found Mannequin Mouth, an independent theatre and film company dedicated to developing original work. It was within this company that my love for directing evolved into a passion for editing, as I began the challenge of translating our stage productions into cinematic films.
This dual perspective of understanding the creative process from both a directorial and editorial lens, is what defines my work today. I thrive on collaborating with directors to protect their vision while finding the pulse of the footage. This synergy was best realized in my independent feature film, Mother Maker Lover Taker, which I directed, edited. The film was awarded the Festival Director’s Choice at the Unrestricted View Film Festival in 2024 and is now streaming globally on platforms such as Apple TV and Prime Video.
Beyond the screen, I have fully embraced the rugged beauty of life in British Columbia. When I’m not in the edit suite, you’ll likely find me exploring the local trails and soaking in the nature that makes this part of the world so inspiring. At home, I’m lucky to have a very sweet cat named Mouse, who provides excellent company and serves as the most loyal, if somewhat sleepy, assistant editor I could ever ask for.
Now settled in Vancouver, I am excited to bring my London-honed expertise and theatrical sensibility to new creative partnerships.
